Cornwall and other places

A week ago we went to Charlies' pub on the way to Cornwall when we arrived Mum looked into the garden and said 'hey, look that child looks like Rafferty' and then another child appeared and Mum said 'hey, that looks like Stanley'. When we walked in we saw Emma and Michael and all their children, it was a huge surprise and we had no idea that they were going to be there when they live all the way in Kent and don't know Charlie. We stayed there for one night and had loads of fun especially with Georgia, Rafferty and Stanley who are our cousins. After Charlie's pub we set off to our main destination, Cornwall. We were staying in a tent which had a few housy type things on a farm. On the farm there were chickens that we got fresh, warm eggs in the morning from they also had 110 cows and a bull, it was a dairy farm. They had loads of cute calves the youngest one which was about six days old they were really cute and we saw them being fed every morning. We saw the bull and it was only two and a half years old but it still weighed about five times more than my dad. The people at the farm were really nice and they had a child called Alex who we played with on camp fire night.

I had a sort of cabiny type room for my bed which was very cosy at night time. After the third day we got back in the car and headed to the best shop in the whole of Cornwall we ordered a pasty each and took it to Padstow. At Padstow we ate our pasties next to the bay and it was the first pasty that I had ever really liked. I also got a really nice quicksilver jumper that is a very very bright green. After Padstow we went to Babington to stay for two nights at Poyntz we had a really nice time in Babington and did a lot of swimming and Mum also had quite a few treatments. I played a really fun game on the playstation and it was the only driving game that Archie has ever liked so it must have been good. The food at Babington was extremely tasty and it was a very very nice stay. After our two nights we headed home three days from when I got home was when school started. Here are some pictures of this amazing holiday.

My Song and Half Term

A few days ago my friend, my guitar teacher and made up a song to send to really well known guitar player. Everyone helped to do it but sadly I can't find out how to put it on but I can send it to some people

This half term we have seen two movies. One was Percy Jackson and the other one was Avatar in 3D. We have been choosing the colour of our rooms, I chose turquoise, my brother chose a very dark purpley blue colour but my Mum and Dad have not chosen their colour. We have not done much but on the last day of half term one of my friends will come over called Christian. We are going to move house in two days to Percy Road.

Theo and Caspar

Yesterday Archie, Mum and I went to Theo and Caspar's house in the country. Dad could not come because he had to work. At their house we did loads of stuff like Warhammer and it. When we arrived Caspar and his Mum were playing a card game called Magic. Caspar won because he plays it loads. Next we all painted some Warhammer. I helped paint Caspar's because I didn't bring my own. After that we all had lunch. For lunch we had some really nice roast chicken and we had potato wedges. We played on my ipod touch for a bit then we had to leave.

New House

A few days ago we found out that the owners of the house we are renting have decided to sell the house. They said we had to get out of it by the end of February. Today we went to see a house on Percy Road which is the same road that one my brothers best friend lives on. It was really big and my brother and I both liked it a lot and the peple that owned had at least five cats. This is a picture of Percy Road:

kenya

Two weeks ago we went on a holiday to Kenya. The flight was about 8.5 hours long but it was fine because I got to watch movies the whole way! I watched "Night at the Museum 2", "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" and the Simpsons which was really funny.

The landing was quite good and it didn't take long to get through the airport. We took a van type thing to a hotel called Tribe. Mark Somen is the General Manager of Tribe and he is also a good friend of my Mum's. Tribe was a really, really, really nice hotel with an awesome swimming pool. The keys there were really cool because they were just cards which you slotted into your door and it would open. There was a table in the middle of the swimming pool which Archie and I went to.

The next day, we had to take another plane to a place called Manda Island. It is very hot there and there are loads of beaches. It is also next to Lamu - about a quarter of a mile across the channel. We got picked up from the airport in a really cool dhow called "Angalia". We picked a few people up and then got to our destination, the Diamond Beach Village. It was really nice there and every morning they gave you some fresh fruit. We went swimming so much and made a few sandcastles. On most of the days, it was raining and we got extremely wet. We stayed in a treehouse which was really nice and big. It was called the "Baobab" because it is built in a baobab tree. Because it rained so much, we played so many games including Perudo, backgammon, Scrabble, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Cluedo. We went to Pepponi's twice when we were there which was really nice because the food was amazing.

One morning, we took a dhow to Lamu Town where we visited the museum and the fort which were really interesting. The guy at the museum was extremely nice and showed us around the whole exhibition telling us what each thing did. I bought a bracelet from a stall and so did Mum and Dad. Archie bought a boat called "Hidaya" which was made out of wood. We had a delicious pizza and really enjoyed seeing the town (especially all the donkeys!).

On the second to last day, Mummy and Daddy swum the channel with Archie while I was cheering them along in "Ronaldo" (another dhow). When we got to the other side, we saw camels on the beach and raced up the sand dunes. Archie came back in the boat with me for the return journey. While they were swimming, we spotted dolphins which was really cool.

On the last day, everybody was sad that we had to go back (especially as the sun had come out!). We flew back to Nairobi and then went out for a curry at Haandi before heading back to the airport. It was really, really nice and I can't wait to go there again one day.

What a fab holiday!

Today

Today Paddy,Amy and little Luke came over for brunch. For brunch we had bagels, pain au chocolat and kedgeree which was really, really nice. Luke was very sweet and we made a train track with him. He really liked it so we played with him and we were each different trains. He also brought a toy crocodile that made a huge noise when you pulled it along the floor. We had a greattime and I hope to see them soon!

A playdate with Rory

Today, I went to Rory's house which was really fun. Firstly, at his house, we played around in his treasure box and saw all of his old things. We played a bit on his Nintendo DSI which was really fun and I took a few weird photos of Rory and his mum. After that, we got in his car and Rosie drove us to Madame Tussauds. It was really fun except the queue took an hour and a half to get in. We saw loads of people including Simon Cowell, David Beckham and Johnny Depp. All of them looked really real and some I even thought were the actual people! We saw Barack Obama and Michael Jackson and went on a really cool taxi ride which took us on a little view of the exhibition. It was really fun and we even did it twice! Rory made a wax version of his hand by covering his hand in goo and then putting it in water and then covering it in wax which he now has in his bedroom. It was really cool. I didn't want it done because it looked really weird. After that, we went to this sports section where we got to play these games. One game was an F1 game which we got to drive Lewis Hamilton's car. After that, we went and did a football game where we had to hit a target and if we hit one, our name would go in a raffle and if you won the raffle, you would get a signed t-shirt from the whole of the Chelsea team. Sadly, I didn't hit it but Rory did (even though he had crocs on!). We went through and went on a weight testing thing. It said that I was "light weight". Rosie went on it and it said she was in the middle. When Rory and I went on it together, it went exactly as far as Rosie's. After that, we went to the shop and got some stuff and went home to his house.

At his house, we played on the Wii a bit and then my mum came and picked me up. What a great day!

Max's Birthday

Last Friday, it was Max's birthday party. He invited loads of people including me, Scooby, Sam, Simon, Sebastian, Giacomo, Nick and Eden. Firstly, we went to watch "Up" which was a very good movie. We had loads of fun and bought some Krispy Creme donuts. We also bought Doritos which were very tasty. After "Up", we all had a pizza at Pizza Express. They were really nice and everyone enjoyed it. After that, we went back to Max's house and played around a bit. Then, we opened his presents and played a really fun game about eating chocolate. We went to bed and talked for the whole night! We had really good fun during the night and played loads of games. In the morning, we all went downstairs and played a bit on the computer and watched a bit of telly. We then all got dressed and had a big pillow fight. Nobody won in the end because some people got hurt. Next, we went and climbed on the roofs of the sheds. After jumping a few sheds, we found a garden with a Rottweiller in it. Max said it was called "Jack" and it was very friendly. Nobody else thought it was friendly and just looked down at it barking at us. It was really, really fun and eventually we got down and played on the Wii. We played "Tomb Raider" which was really good. After a bit of that, we all got ready to go and ran around the house running away from each other under our parents came to pick us up. What a brilliant party!
