Pointz and Scilly
About two weeks ago we went to Pointz which is in Somerset near Babington. It was really good fun and I went swimming quite a lot. We stayed there for two nights and had lots of fun. Then we drove to Penzance and took a helicopter to Tresco. At the heliport the Harper family (Hugh,Hilary,Harry and Lottie) and the Bury family(Markus,Sacha,Christoffer,Olivia and Nicholas) were there to meet us. We took a tractor to a bike store to rent some bikes and then me and Harry did a cycle ride. We first stayed in a cottage called Dial Rocks. It was quite big but not as big as our house because it only had 1 floor up. Sadly Harry was there for only two days while I was there. Later on we bought some crabing nets and went crabing whith Charles and Henri and their family who came over from St Mary's. When Harry was there on his last day we went on a sea safari boat which was a blue rib with one 225hp engine we went around the islands going really fast the fastest that we went was 44 mph. It was really fun and we saw loads of seals. At the end of the ride we did a big donut and we did it so many times we eventually went through the middle of it. On that day as well me and Harry went sailing. It was really fun but we tipped quite a lot at some parts then Harry had to go. On the island there was a place called the New Inn which had amazing ice cream me and Archie got a double scoop ice cream which was giant. My favourite thing about the holiday was swimming in the flying boat club. Later on we had to go so we went to the heliport and took a black helicopter which was nicer than the other one. When we arrived in Penzance we got into the car and drove all the way back to London.

Thank you for your interesting descriptions about your holiday. How good it was that so many other families you are friendly with were able to be there at the same time. It may become a regular annual event. Would you like that?
Black and white photography is really successfull for portraits. Did you take them?
Lots of love granny
